Great Ocean Road Trip

BEEP BEEP BEEP!

3.30am.

Why would anyone in their right mind be getting up at this time?

Welcome to the life of a photographer.

My friend Aleks and I embarked on an early morning adventure to Great Ocean Road, one of Australia’s most famous landmarks. I had been twice previously and knew that I hadn’t arrived early enough so this time we decided to fully commit.

After two coffees and plenty of kilometres covered we arrived at Loch Ard Gorge. A place that that will leave you speechless. Two huge gorges separated by a small bay which you can swim in if the weather is right.

We both decided to Fly our drone as it was early enough and we had beaten the crowds, the conditions were the best I had seen them and I was extremely excited to see Great Ocean Road from a different perspective.

We decided to drive 40 minutes to The Great Otway National Park which is home to The Californian Redwood Forest, my favourite place in Victoria. The weather was still great and I hadn’t seen what the forest looked like from above yet as it was my first trip their since I had added the drone to my kit.

We had an amazing day full of laughs and created some memories ill never forget, with these photos to remind me how special it was.

Bells Beach
Ive always loved surfing and appreciated that there is a certain sense of beauty within the carves and lines surfers create while surfing a wave. A sport that Mother Nature has a huge say in, whats not to love.

The Grampians National Park is like a place you only see on the movies. Home to Australia’s finest wildlife and some incredible rocky peaks the Grampians will take your breath away.
